“There are only 3 things eternal in life: Your soul; God; and your love relationship with God.” – Rishi Tulsidasananda
For anyone who has taken part in one of Tulsidasananda’s Atma Kriya retreats knows the amazing gift he carries of helping one to deepen their practice of Atma Kriya yoga in the most simplest yet profoundest ways.
This weekend was just like the others I have experienced. An opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the Kriya techniques and the deeper meaning behind them in a relaxed and enjoyable way with someone who has such a passion Atma Kriya yoga.
We went through each of the techniques with Tulsidasananda allowing him to guide us through and answer any questions or problems we had. The focus for each technique was love. Simply to do Kriya with love rather than rigidly or mechanically. He stressed the benefit of having a personal relationship with the Kriya for just like when one sits down for prayer as an act to commune with God so it is with Atma Kriya. It is in this way that the Kriya then works for us. So much so that we barely need to do anything as the Kriya begins to happen almost instantaneously and effortlessly.
It was a wonderful weekend being in the company of the other Kriya students. We were fortunate enough to go for japa walks on both days and enjoy a group lunch together in the park as well as sharing our experiences and practising the techniques together. Sunday’s Om Healing was very powerful as it seemed that everyone had put Tulsidasananda’s advice into practice. We also dedicated the Om Healing to all the women in the world as it was International Women’s day.
Tulsidasananda has the amazing ability of enabling one to fall in love with the Kriya techniques even those that can seem quite boring! It is beautiful to listen to someone who has such a passion for Atma Kriya that makes you also want to have that same passion as he does. The grace of Sri Swami Vishwananda and Mahavatar Babaji are with us all though the retreats with Tulsidasananda are undoubtedly an opportunity to come and experience this grace first hand as it flows through his teachings.
