DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION \n\n\nAtma Kriya Yoga is the most powerful form of Yoga given to the world today. Through Atma Kriya Yoga realise yourself and become once again what you have been\, continue to be\, and will always be – the Soul. \nDuring the course\, the Kriya Yogi (practioner of Atma Kriya Yoga)\, will be initiated into the ancient Atma Kriya Yoga techniques that uplift and purify oneself\, such as japa\, pranayama\, meditation asanas and mudras. At the conclusion of the course\, the Kriya Yogi will receive Shaktipat. Shaktipat is the reason why Atma Kriya Yoga is the most powerful form of Yoga today. It is the energy of an ancient yoga tradition being handed over to the Kriya Yogi. The Atma Kriya Yoga tradition contains many of the greatest Yoga Masters the world has ever known. \nThe Shaktipat guarantees the success of the techniques and the safety of the student. It allows the student to make swift progress in the techniques and to achieve not just some limited benefits\, but the fullness of what Atma Kriya Yoga has to offer. \nThis course will be held in English.

Note the below timings are for guidelines purposes. \n\n10:00am Guru Abhishekam\n10:30am Yagna\, Kalash Puja & Vishvaksena Puja\n11:30pm Deity Abhishekam\n12:30pm Final Arati\n1:00pm Lunch\n\nENJOY THE EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\n\n\nAbhishekam is done every day to the deities of Srinivasa Temple. On the full moon\, our regular morning prayer service is extended to include a special Maha Abhishekam on the large deities on the main altar followed by a Yagna. The whole event lasts about three hours. While the curtains are closed\, and the deities are being dressed\, you will hear satsangs on divine scriptures\, enjoy singing and dancing to kirtans and feel the spirit of the community. \nDID YOU KNOW?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbhishekam is a beautiful bathing ritual where five different substances are poured onto the deity. These substances symbolise the five elements of our physical nature and our lower nature emotional qualities. Through the Grace of the deities\, these elements\, our five senses and the mind are purified and transformed in a positive way. \n\nMilk/water element/ego is offered to be elevated into wisdom and selflessness.\nYogurt/earth element/pride is offered to be transformed to humility.\nGhee/fire element/karma is offered in hopes of being freed from the bonds of material desire.\nHoney/air element/Maya is offered up so that we may transcend illusions and rise to attain the Divine.\nSugar/ether element/emotionality (in particular\, jealousy) is offered to be balanced and harmonised so we can be uplifted into the sweetness of the Divine\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA yajna is an ancient Vedic fire ceremony which has been practised for millennia. Yajna means to selflessly sacrifice for noble purposes. During the yajna we offer our prayers of love and gratitude to the deities for all that they do for us. Performing yajna is an act of worship\, one where offerings are made into the holy fire which is seen as the mouth of the Divine.
