Note the below timings are for guidelines purposes. \n\n10:00am Guru Abhishekam\n10:30am Yagna\, Kalash Puja & Vishvaksena Puja\n11:30pm Deity Abhishekam\n12:30pm Final Arati\n1:00pm Lunch\n\nENJOY THE EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\n\n\nAbhishekam is done every day to the deities of Srinivasa Temple. On the full moon\, our regular morning prayer service is extended to include a special Maha Abhishekam on the large deities on the main altar followed by a Yagna. The whole event lasts about three hours. While the curtains are closed\, and the deities are being dressed\, you will hear satsangs on divine scriptures\, enjoy singing and dancing to kirtans and feel the spirit of the community. \nDID YOU KNOW?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbhishekam is a beautiful bathing ritual where five different substances are poured onto the deity. These substances symbolise the five elements of our physical nature and our lower nature emotional qualities. Through the Grace of the deities\, these elements\, our five senses and the mind are purified and transformed in a positive way. \n\nMilk/water element/ego is offered to be elevated into wisdom and selflessness.\nYogurt/earth element/pride is offered to be transformed to humility.\nGhee/fire element/karma is offered in hopes of being freed from the bonds of material desire.\nHoney/air element/Maya is offered up so that we may transcend illusions and rise to attain the Divine.\nSugar/ether element/emotionality (in particular\, jealousy) is offered to be balanced and harmonised so we can be uplifted into the sweetness of the Divine\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA yajna is an ancient Vedic fire ceremony which has been practised for millennia. Yajna means to selflessly sacrifice for noble purposes. During the yajna we offer our prayers of love and gratitude to the deities for all that they do for us. Performing yajna is an act of worship\, one where offerings are made into the holy fire which is seen as the mouth of the Divine.

DESCRIPTION:DETAILS\nSri Yantra is the most sacred geometry known to mankind and is a special energetic instrument for spiritual advancement. Among the yantras\, Sri Yantra is considered to be the oldest\, the most powerful and the most effective.

Sri Yantra is believed to contain the power of all creation and is seen to be the true form of Divine Mother Herself. 
Its interlocking triangles symbolise the union between creation’s masculine and feminine energies. \n\nBoth male and female qualities are fully represented in this form\, which we also have in ourselves. Beyond its form\, however\, there is a greater mystery to explore in the Sri Yantra. \n\n\n\n\n\nA yantra is an energetic instrument for our spiritual advancement. It is the most sacred geometry known to mankind. Sri Yantra has a profound effect on the person who draws\, paints\, or studies one. It is based on nine layers and each level has its own structure and secret wisdom hidden.  Sri Yantra drawing and painting meditation courses\, based on the teachings of Paramahamsa Vishwananda and offered around the world\, teach how to recognize and draw a precise Sri Yantra. The final painting process contains 9 steps and takes place in silent meditation. \nTHINGS TO NOTE\nAs during any sacred process\, it is of strong recommendation to keep a vegetarian diet (ideally vegan) during the course day\, as well as during the sacred process of painting your Śrī-yantra and \nmeditating with it. It is our way to show our respect to Divine Mother\, Śakti\, who is the mother of all beings. This will also allow you to have more clear and receptive mind during the course. As your Śrī-yantra might become for you later on a tool for meditation\, it is of highest recommendation that your vibrations stay as pure as possible during the course. \nParticipants should bring colouring pencils (vegan)\, links to purchase online available by directly contacting Sri Yantra teacher. It is the most sacred geometry known to mankind. Sri Yantra has a profound effect on the person who draws\, paints\, or studies one. It is based on nine layers and each level has its own structure and secret wisdom hidden. On the full moon\, our regular morning prayer service is extended to include a special Maha Abhishekam on the large deities on the main altar followed by a Yagna. The whole event lasts about three hours. While the curtains are closed\, and the deities are being dressed\, you will hear satsangs on divine scriptures\, enjoy singing and dancing to kirtans and feel the spirit of the community. \nDID YOU KNOW?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbhishekam is a beautiful bathing ritual where five different substances are poured onto the deity. These substances symbolise the five elements of our physical nature and our lower nature emotional qualities. Through the Grace of the deities\, these elements\, our five senses and the mind are purified and transformed in a positive way. \n\nMilk/water element/ego is offered to be elevated into wisdom and selflessness.\nYogurt/earth element/pride is offered to be transformed to humility.\nGhee/fire element/karma is offered in hopes of being freed from the bonds of material desire.\nHoney/air element/Maya is offered up so that we may transcend illusions and rise to attain the Divine.\nSugar/ether element/emotionality (in particular\, jealousy) is offered to be balanced and harmonised so we can be uplifted into the sweetness of the Divine\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA yajna is an ancient Vedic fire ceremony which has been practised for millennia. Yajna means to selflessly sacrifice for noble purposes. During the yajna we offer our prayers of love and gratitude to the deities for all that they do for us. Performing yajna is an act of worship\, one where offerings are made into the holy fire which is seen as the mouth of the Divine.

Note the below timings are for guidelines purposes. \n\n10:00am Guru Abhishekam\n10:30am Yagna\, Kalash Puja & Vishvaksena Puja\n11:30pm Deity Abhishekam\n12:30pm Final Arati\n1:00pm Lunch\n\nENJOY THE EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\n\n\nAbhishekam is done every day to the deities of Srinivasa Temple. On the full moon\, our regular morning prayer service is extended to include a special Maha Abhishekam on the large deities on the main altar followed by a Yagna. The whole event lasts about three hours. While the curtains are closed\, and the deities are being dressed\, you will hear satsangs on divine scriptures\, enjoy singing and dancing to kirtans and feel the spirit of the community. \nDID YOU KNOW?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbhishekam is a beautiful bathing ritual where five different substances are poured onto the deity. These substances symbolise the five elements of our physical nature and our lower nature emotional qualities. Through the Grace of the deities\, these elements\, our five senses and the mind are purified and transformed in a positive way. \n\nMilk/water element/ego is offered to be elevated into wisdom and selflessness.\nYogurt/earth element/pride is offered to be transformed to humility.\nGhee/fire element/karma is offered in hopes of being freed from the bonds of material desire.\nHoney/air element/Maya is offered up so that we may transcend illusions and rise to attain the Divine.\nSugar/ether element/emotionality (in particular\, jealousy) is offered to be balanced and harmonised so we can be uplifted into the sweetness of the Divine\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA yajna is an ancient Vedic fire ceremony which has been practised for millennia. Yajna means to selflessly sacrifice for noble purposes. During the yajna we offer our prayers of love and gratitude to the deities for all that they do for us. Performing yajna is an act of worship\, one where offerings are made into the holy fire which is seen as the mouth of the Divine.
