‘Call of the 9 Goddesses ‘ Pilgrimage to North India – Rajeshwari’s Story
Author: Seb Gates
From the moment we landed to our first place of worship, Katra, things significantly intensified for me. Just after leaving the tiny local airport, to our great joy and surprise Guruji was waiting for us on the bus stop to travel together. I remember falling to his feet and immediately wounding my knee on something sharp which made a hole on my new peacock blue silk trousers- with a substantial bleeding from my knee, my processing of karma began!
In the bus Guruji greeted everyone personally in the sweetest manner. The first evening, He asked about my parents whom He remembered so well their first time meeting him in London this May.
Thereafter, two beautiful but challenging weeks followed with Guruji, as He showered us with the Divine Mother’s Love. He always gave prasad, satsangs and whatever each of us needed the most. In this routine of climbing in the heat and dust to the holy ashrams and queuing to have a glimpse of the Divine Maa in her various forms- so much work, thinking and reassessment was done internally, something so important we rarely have time for in our busy lives.
On the last day of the trip, I set firmly an intention after all this thinking to have a talk with Guruji to clarify some issues that arose as a result. So I was doing the Kriya in the garden and then He came over and let me have my longest chat with Him ever for some good 5 minutes. When I told Him about these issues, He made it all easy and perfect. Most importantly, I expressed all my gratitude for everything He’s done for me since He came into my life. I shared my concerns and He let me feel I am on the right path and the Divine Mother loves me so much!
Upon my return after the crazy tiredness was gone, I felt so much love to all people and the Divine Mother’s Love to me. The 6000 euros spent on the trip was so much worth it and many times more. I am so blessed to be taken by Guruji and Maa. I pray for everyone to go on a pilgrimage with Guruji if they get a chance.
