Bhakti Marga UK at the Tree of Life Festival in Birmingham
On Saturday, October 15, three London based Bhakti Marga devotees took part in the annual ‘Tree of Life Festival’ in Birmingham. Predominately a ‘mind-body-spirit’ type of festival, it attracted many visitors from around the local area especially Birmingham itself and Coventry. Many of those who came to the festival were seeking for something, yet they were unsure what exactly they were looking for. The photo of our Guruji, Paramahamsa Vishwananda, was like a magnet to quite a few people – many found themselves hanging around our stand for unknown reason. Visitors of the festival were lively, enthusiastic and keen to know more about Bhakti Marga, Paramahamsa Vishwananda and His January visit to the UK.
In the afternoon Anand held the OM Chanting session which drew a lot of people from all kind of ‘spiritual’ backgrounds. The session also stimulated interest in Swamini Karuna’s upcoming visit to Birmingham later on this month (October, 29), when she will hold another OM Chanting session followed by a satsang (Q&A type session on spiritual topics). The session is free to attend, so please check out our calendar of events for more details.
