Bhakti Marga Art
Bhakti Marga Art was formed through the teachings of Paramahamsa Vishwananda. With His blessing it has become a form of sadhana (spiritual practice) that allows us to express our devotion to the Divine through art. It is an active meditation in which we connect with the saints and deities as we paint them from our hearts and in the stillness of the mind.
Currently Bhakti Marga Art is comprised of professional artists around the world, with some being in the art industry for thirty plus years. These artists are continually creating new artworks as well as offering workshops throughout the year.
These paintings, created with such heartfelt devotion and love, possess an indescribable holy energy and beauty. Even more, they have a harmonising effect on people and their environment.
BHAKTI MARGA ART COURSES
To share this sublime experience with others, Bhakti Marga Art has re-imagined a beautiful art studio and displays of artworks can be found throughout Shree Peetha Nilaya. Courses in devotional art are held at the art studio and also online, offering different painting meditation and creative art techniques, including Sri Yantra drawing and painting course
The painting meditation and art classes support the process of self-acceptance to self-confidence; ultimately connecting with our inner Self, the source of Divine Love. Artistic ability is not essential, just willingness, love of painting and a little patience with oneself.
PAINTING MEDITATION WITH DEVOTIONAL IMAGES
This workshop is for everyone who wants to connect with Deities and Divine Incarnations and who loves to paint. By concentrating on the stories of the Deities and Saints, we are inspired by Their incomparable example of serving humanity.
A selection of motifs will be provided for colouring. In addition, this workshop offers an introduction to several art techniques with a variety of materials like coloured pencils, pastels, watercolours, and acrylics to discover your creative expressions. Our 3-hour and in-depth courses are creative art classes where you can experience meditative painting in silence. Artistic experience is not necessary.

WHAT IS SPIRITUAL ART?
In the spiritual context, the process of creating art work takes place inwardly and is expressed outwardly following ones intuition/guidance.
During the process of creating art, the artist becomes a vessel for the divine energy to flow through when painting/undertaking creative art work.
The artist receives the inner impressions/guidance to create through the use of forms, shape, colour and texture. Being in tune with ones inner guidance and having learned all the artistic techniques, the spiritual artist is able to create such a spiritual painting/drawing that holds a certain energy which can uplift and bring balance and harmony to people that come in contact with these art works.
The art work itself is never the end in itself, but a meeting and point of balance, harmony, texture and colour, wherein it becomes a portal between the sky and the earth.
I love painting because it helps to express towards the outside what you have inside of yourself.Paramahamsa Vishwananda
