Who is Swamini Karuna?
Swamini Karuna is the Swamini appointed by Paramahamsa Vishwananda to manage and nurture the international development of the Bhakti Marga mission and community within the UK. She has has ran many meditation courses, as well as training over 200 meditation teachers worldwide.
What is a satsang?
A satsang is a Q&A type session that gives participants an opportunity to ask various questions on spiritual topics.
What is OM Chanting?
OM Chanting is an ancient group healing technique that has been brought back by the Guru of Paramahamsa Vishwananda – Mahavatar Babaji, to help restore balance and unity in people and the world. Sound and vibration are the essence of creation. OM is the primordial sound that creates and pervades the entire universe. It belongs to all humanity, regardless of nationality, ethnicity or religion. OM Chanting circles harness the transformational power of OM to activate the self-healing potential of participants. Participants experience positive shifts in emotional, mental, and physical well-being, thereby bringing more peace, joy and love into their life. The circle benefits participants and the surrounding environment in the radius of two kilometres.
During the OM Chanting practice participants form two circles – inner and outer – and chant OM continuously for 45 minutes. As the vibration is stronger in the inner circle, people swap every 15 minutes, so that everyone gets to sit in the middle for 15 minutes. When the practise starts, no new people can join the circles, for this reason, we ask you to please be on time. If you are running late, please let the organiser know (they are happy to share their contact details with you when you come for the first time) – if it is only a few minutes, they might be able to wait for you. Otherwise, you are welcome to sit outside the circles, which will also be of a great benefit.
What is Atma Kriya Yoga?
Through the Grace of Mahavatar Babaji, ancient and secret knowledge has been given to the world through Paramahamsa Vishwananda in the form of Atma Kriya Yoga. The initiation into Atma Kriya Yoga serves as a way to unlock the door to Self-Realisation, by infusing the practitioner with the direct energy of the Masters.
Through the techniques we purify the nervous system, calm the mind, slow the ageing process, balance hormones, increase energy and bring vitality to the physical body. The practice leads us to deep state of meditation and the unification of the mind, body and spirit.
Ultimately, Divine Love awakens inside of us. This Love, which can’t be understood by the mind, which is a mystery to even the great yogis – is the key to realising who we truly are.
